This is such a peaceful place! Went here on a Sunday in early November... there was hardly anyone there and I️ was still able to do some leaf peeping! I️ can’t wait to go back in the spring.

Great resource to learn about, see and even purchase native plants. Excellent knowledgeable volunteers. Great views all year round. Don't miss the tower and the long walk to it.
We used the park as an access point to walk along the Delaware Raritin Canal. It is a beautiful walk with frequent views of the Delaware River, tall, graceful walnut and poplar trees, and occasional old houses (although some new ones have intruded in the last few years). The wild flower garden is best seen in the late Spring, and can be quite beautiful if weather cooperates.
